Basic Policy on the Proper Handling of Individual Numbers and Specific Personal Information

1.Adherence to Relevant Laws, Regulations, and Guidelines, etc.

YOSHINOYA HOLDINGS CO., LTD. (hereinafter, the “Company") adheres to the “Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (hereinafter, the “My Number Act")," the “Guidelines for Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information (For Business Operators)," and the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information" in handling individual number and specific personal information (hereinafter, the “Specific Personal Information, etc.").

2.Purposes of Use

The Company will use the Specific Personal Information, etc. it receives for the following purposes.

1. Specific Personal Information, etc. of business partners
   • Preparation of reports of payment related to real estate transactions
   • Preparation of reports of payment related to remuneration, fees, contract money, and prize money
2. Specific Personal Information, etc. of shareholders
   • Preparation of reports of payment related to distribution of dividends and surplus
3. Specific Personal Information, etc. of employees, etc. of the Company
   • Tax affairs
     Preparation of withholding records
     Preparation of declaration forms, notification forms, and application forms related to asset-formation housing savings and asset-formation pension savings
     Providing such information to the employee stock ownership plan for the purpose of the plan's preparation of reports of payment to its members
   • Social insurance
     Application and claiming work related to notifications for health insurance and employees' pension insurance
     Preparation of application forms, claiming forms, and certificates related to notifications for employment insurance and workers' compensation insurance
4. Specific personal information of spouses, relatives, etc. of the Company's employees
   • Tax affairs
     Preparation of withholding records
   • Social insurance
     Work of notifications for health insurance and employees' pension insurance

3.Matters Related to Safety Management Measures

In order to prevent leakage or loss of or damage to the Specific Personal Information, etc. and properly manage individual number in any other ways, the Company separately formulates and adheres to “Regulations for Handling Individual Number and Specific Personal Information."

4.Entrustment

The Company may entrust handling of specific personal information to a third party. In such cases, the Company will properly supervise the outsourced companies as required in accordance with the My Number Act and the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

5.Continuous Improvement

The Company will strive to improve its handling of the Specific Personal Information, etc. on an ongoing basis.

6.Disclosure of the Specific Personal Information, etc.

The Company will respond promptly to requests from data subjects or their representatives for disclosure of personal data in the possession of the Company concerning the relevant Specific Personal Information, etc., except for cases that fall under the following items:

• Cases where life, body, property, or any other rights or interests of the data subject or any third party may be harmed;
• Cases where the Company's proper operation may be significantly hindered;
• Cases where disclosure may violate laws and regulations.
