Environmental Policy

Basic Policy

Global movement to contain climate change has been gaining momentum, as exemplified by streamlining of energy and laws and regulations for measures to tackle global warming. Our Group further recognizes the importance of climate change, and that related transition risks may impact the Group's business performance. We are aware of the environmental impact of our business activities—including the aforementioned risks—and we continue to work on addressing climate change through environmentally friendly business activities. As a provider of everyday food, we will implement measures in line with economic growth in response to the demands of society for action on climate change.

Compliance

We will comply with all business activity-related laws and regulations, as well as any other requirements we have agreed to accept, and will work to mitigate pollution.

Reducing Environmental Burden

We will strive to save energy, reduce food loss and waste, and conserve water across the breadth of the supply chain, from raw material procurement to production, distribution, store processing, and disposal. We will also promote initiatives that consider the preservation of biodiversity throughout the supply chain.

Promoting Environmental Education

To enhance the environmental awareness of all members of the Yoshinoya Holdings Group, we will strive to promote environmental education and work to raise environmental awareness group-wide.

Setting Environmental Targets and Disclosing Information

We will establish environmental targets and aim to mitigate our environmental impact on an ongoing basis, while also actively disclosing environmental information and working to ensure transparency in our environmental preservation activities.
