

Following completion of the "YDC21" long-term business plan (FY1997-2006), we now embark on a new initiative to target further growth. Conditions in the restaurant industry have changed greatly in the past ten years. Amid fierce competition, we cannot expect to grow just by continuing to do what worked in the past.
To generate fresh growth, it is vital that we harness our entire resources to build long-term Group value.
To this end, we have formulated anew the business philosophy, values, commitments and vision that will be shared by the whole Yoshinoya Group. We also have a new business plan: covering the four-year period to February 2011, "The Next Stage 2010" is a medium-term business plan with specific business performance targets as far as FY2010. We are developing the systems and structures required to achieve these goals.
